My Celiac Run Race Results

Today was the 5th annual celiac run in Baltimore. This year I ran the 5K in 27:07, not a racer's results but I'm happy.

The team I formed raised a total of $2,250.00 for the celiac center.

I want to thank everyone for their monetary support.

The run was recorded on my Garmin 301, below is the course and my vitals.

Why?

Why does every sauna have some form of sign that says, “Don’t sauna for longer than 30 minutes,” yet there is no clock in the sauna?

Airport security in action and the perfect airport shoes

This morning I was flying back from Phoenix and while I was going through security an older man in front of me kept setting off the metal detector. They had him take his wallet out and they x-rayed it.

What did they find?

Well they pulled him to the side and started looking through his wallet.

TSA found a utility knife blade.

Why would anyone carry one of these in their wallet? They are sharp and belong in their normal handle.

I wasn’t there unitl the end to see what happened to him, but hopefully they ripped his bags apart to make sure he wasn’t hiding anything else.

Who knows that this guy was going to do with it, but GREAT JOB TSA screeners.

On a side note, I purchased a new pair of slip on Vans and have decided that these are the ultimate travel shoe. Easy off and easy on for security and plenty of stylish designs.
